I've decided I need a semi-competive, semi- budget control deck. I'm considering building this or a Nicol Bolas build - link.

Jin-Gitaxis, Core Auger and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger seems like a good way to lock down a game, so I'm building with that as the goa for now. No infinite mana, but a ton of it and something like Exanguinate or Mind Drain works.
