Cut explosive vegetation for rampant growth. Same ratio of cost to result but more flexible.

Cut a forest for awakening zone. Very cool ramp that combos with Butcher of Malakir nicely.

Cutting mind control for Arguentum armor. 2 reasons: 1) I need another way to target sources that grant hexproof (enchantments/artifacts) and planeswalkers both. 2) I ran into a land that returns all creatures to their owners control in my small meta. This removes one of my weaker gain control cards and grants a card that can destroy that land.
