Battle of All Battles; Final Gathering of the Elves who refused Light

Graveyard recursion and control stacking up with elves with Damia at the helm to fill the hand back up, this deck has a lot of combos as anyone would expect, but with BUG you can get some cool combo's off like Patriarch's Bidding + Survival of the Fittest and Fauna Shaman and Grave Sifter can do the same job. Great to combo with Forbid and buyback with no worries b/c of Damia's excellent ability.

Then there's one-card winners like Umbral Mantle. Its practically a one card combo. If its around, there will be an elf worth sticking it on, such as one of the many Seeker of Skybreakish or Priest of Titania's, or even Immaculate Magistrate. My favorite one-card finisher is Intruder Alarm. With combos like Intruder Alarm + Presense of Gond, Intruder Alarm + Primordial Sage , or Voice of the Woods or Lys Alana Huntmaster, its always fun as the sun to ping and play until your opponents get tired of seeing it and scoop. Then of course we can't forget Coat of Arms, because its also a one-card combo much like Intruder Alarm or Umbral Mantle. Play it. Swing. Win. Then there's Slate of Ancestry and Tangleroot which can really set the avalanche off.

Because the deck can make so make mana so fast, its good to run some mana sinks and game-changing bombs. So for those, there's Hydra Broodmaster, Infinite Reflection, Clone Legion, Joraga Warcaller, Shaman of the Forgotten Ways (Biorythm is BACK BABY!), Tooth and Nail and Genesis Wave.

Then there's the control element. Not a whole boatload, but thats because our boat is full of elves. What there is though is excellent. There's Equilibrium and Cyclonic Rift (with a very early overload I might add) to keep board presence in your favor, and you may or may not feel a little "gilty" when you play Gilt-Leaf Archdruid or Sunder and start land hating. nullmage shepard and Glissa Sunseeker are good for the artifact and enchantment control, not only as normal but in combo with the goodies like Intruder Alarm and Seeker of Skybreak. Also there's Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, who's pretty decent really. And as for good protection or "proactive control" if you will, there's Vigor,Edric, Spymaster of Trest and Prowess of the Fair, plus the Patriarchs Bidding and Grave Sifter. There isn't a ton, but the deck is intended mostly to ramp and combo out fast and furious, if it can't do that, then the control and recursion plus all the tutoring will help lead it into victory lane, almost like a re-enforced glass cannon. And I think that about covers it! Thanks for viewing, please give a +1 if you like!
