Thoughts

Primal Might has eclipsed the various sweepers I’ve had in the Main, moving them to the Side. It’s been an all star and definitely something I wish I’d picked up earlier. Has come in handy many times as a finisher, dumping all mana into it when (hopefully) safe to do so.

Archived Thoughts

Flame Sweep

is still important and holds a special place for me. I’ve taken it out for now since I’m focusing more on Bo3 and aggro isn’t as common a matchup for me.

Magmaquake

has done some good work being able to hit things above 2 toughness (usually just 3, Nissa lands etc). Also hitting Nissa and any other planeswalkers can be really helpful to gain back some ground.

A fairly unique plus with Dinos is their ability to always make use of cards like Flame Sweep. Until recently I had it in the Main but fighting for removal has been enough more often than not. Moving 4-5 sweepers to the sideboard has still been feeling good. It’s needed in a number of matchups and useful against a number of decks but this Golden Bullet is almost never a dead draw no matter what the opponent is running. I’ve personally faced (more often) decks where this card is needed so having it in Game 1 or the 75 has been a great edge against the competition.

Volcanic Fallout could be a possibility but I like Flame Sweep being easier to play, far less clunky compared to needing 1RR. Cinderclasm Is also an option but I haven’t used it yet as it feels like It would more often just be a worse VF.

Inscription of Abundance caught my eye as nice option to have Game 1 as it’s often never dead and generally useful because it does a few things. At Instant speed this is very nice for the Fighting, removal but the added bonus of two +1 counters and possibly health feel great.
