I've been well.

Playing at a new LGS that I like better.

Also found a new Commander playgroup.

Finding it a little more difficult to build decks that cream the opposition, but I might just be in a bit of a slump.

Sweet, I wish I could find a closer playgroup, I wouldnt even care what format, my LGS is over an hour away.

I play a little Commander now and then but mostly Modern, still playing u/r decks in all formats. =P

I did that colours test and ended up with Izzet.

It's linked on my Profile if you haven't done it.

Ill have to check it out, I better get u/r!

What kinda opposition are you facing? My friend plays Eldrazi Tron as you can probably tell by my sideboard. Considering adding Field of Ruin to the main deck.

And Blood Moon was spoiled for m25 today so maybe I should pick some up. Lol

I play Standard so the usual.

Approach, Merfolk, Dinos, Gift, Control.

Ive been wanting to play standard but not many people at my lgs play it. Mostly commander and some modern. I prefer 1v1 so play mostly modern.

Ive got a sweet u/r THopter standard deck I want to try, I need to create it on here.

February 26, 2018 10:48 p.m.

Have you seen the new Challenger decks? I think theyre awesome!

February 26, 2018 10:50 p.m.

Argy says... #11

Yeah I started a topic about them.

I agree, they are not too shabby.

A good base to build a deck. With a little bit of tweaking they can be very competitive at Standard.

I'm thinking about buying one, just to see if you can play it as is, and win some games.

I did that with the last Event deck they ever made, and did win some.

Which is basically just what these new decks are.

February 26, 2018 11:11 p.m.

Yeah I might pick up one of them just in case someone shows up to play standard I would have a deck, and I really want a Chandra, Torch of Defiance. I think it would make a sweet addition to my Delver deck.

I might pick up the Approach deck, as I'm tired of losing to that.

The Mardu Vehicles Deck appeals to me, too.

Wandering Fumarole is an excellent card.

You only have two, so coming in tapped is not a big deal.

March 4, 2018 10:13 p.m.

Oh yeah, I love that card. It can be rough in a deck with so many turn one plays and sometimes never sees a 4th land. People dont really play tapped lands in modern but Im more on the casual side so I think it will be fine.

Plus with all the removal in Modern it can be nice to have an extra threat in the mana base in a deck that has so few threats.

March 4, 2018 10:32 p.m.

I do remember when it was in standard winning games with just Fumarole and burn spells.

I used it to Crew Skysovereign, Consul Flagship, after they killed all my Creatures.

Bloodwater Entity might work. Thoughts?

March 7, 2018 6:30 p.m.

Flooremoji possibly, it would have to replace the Enigma Drake though which I think finishes the game a little faster. Getting a spell back could be good though. Thanks for the suggestion!

March 7, 2018 7:02 p.m.

I like the inclusion of Enigma Drake! +1 from me!

How do you feel about the inclusion of TiTi to play more like UR pyro? Playing TiTi shifts delver more towards midrange/control which leads to a very interesting style of play. (as more of a general discussion on the future of delver)

Solid construction for a budget deck. The Wandering Fumaroles look lousy in a deck with such a low curve, though; you'll probably end up mulliganing more than you should because of it (you can't realistically keep any hand where Fumarole is your only land). I would also give cards like Logic Knot and Grim Lavamancer a look.

March 8, 2018 6:26 p.m.

SeekerofSecrets thanks for the upvote! I defiantly feel like Enigma Drake doesnt get enough love. I have actually been thinking hard about replacing Young Peezy with Thing in the Ice  Flip. I dont feel the deck has room for both and I dislike how they interact. TiTi can help you come back from some situations where Peezy would not. And I think TiTi can kill faster than Peezy can. Another cool thing is that Bedlam Reveler is a horror so TiTi doesnt bounce it. It usually only takes one hit from Awoken Horror to get them into burn range.

rothgar13 thanks for the upvote! I agree with what you said about Fumarole but I thought they were worth testing out. They defiantly make one land keeps a lot worse for sure. I considered Logic Knot and Grim Lavamancer but they make Enigma Drake pretty weak and Bedlam Reveler impossible to cast.

March 8, 2018 7:26 p.m.

In my list i play delver, titi, peezy, reveler and snake for 13 threats. I honestly love the mix, i would test titi over peezy to see if you like it, but they arnt awful paired together!

March 8, 2018 7:42 p.m.

Ive defiantly tested with TiTi before but Ive never tested with both TiTi and Peezy, maybe I will test it when I get a chance. What card do you mean by snake? Cryptic Serpent?

March 8, 2018 8:30 p.m.

Yea cryptic serpent is my big dumb beater of choice!
