Creature (1)

Behold the Curious Mirror. I was attracted to this deck idea because it is unusual and I have not yet seen it when playing with friends. I have always been a fan of simic and of izzet and the opportunity to make as unpredictable of a deck as possible (in the sense that most things in this deck are not real or cannot be until a copy materializes from nothing) was too tempting to resist.

This deck focuses around copying opponent threats to maintain pace and eventually creating copies of game winning cards. Numerous interactions in the deck can produce potent effects (e.g. doubling effects with token gen, wiping an aggro player by duplicating all of their attackers, duplicating mana rocks or game winning artifacts, etc.)

The potential of this deck relies upon the actions of the other players and as such this deck will generate large threats at a similar pace as the leading player in the match, and ramps far beyond them with token generator multipliers.

Strengths: Creatures, Token generation, Artifacts, Mana, Draw Control Weaknesses: Decks that create large numbers of weak attackers, pace relies on opponents pace (to some degree).
