This deck was made together with another deck builder jeffboms. A combination of flavour with function. The goal of the deck is to mill oneself in a respresentation of losing one's own mind. Doomsday is thus included to simulate not only the end of the world, but is also a vital element to the combo. Laboratory Maniac is the main piece of the deck that ensures a victory.

To that end, Fraying Sanity and Traumatize have also been included in the deck to give extra backbone to the goal of the deck as well as providing some really nice flavour to the theme of the deck. It can be placed on someone, or it is another manner in which mill ourselves out.

In addition to this, Liliana's Contract + Arcane Adaptation is the reference to Insmouth where people made deals with the eldritch gods to turn themselves into the vessels for new generations of gods. In sense, they made deals with demons and turned themselves into demons as well. It is a flavourful but functional win condition, if your opponents cannot answer it.

The Unspeakable Cycle is included due to the effectiveness of the cycle together if all the cards are cast together; one has the capability of retrieving them all again. Furthermore, the cycle is included to simulate the discovery of the unspeakable monster that lives in the depths. It is unlikely the opponent will see what it is supposed to do unless they are familiar with the combination of cards.

Naturally counter magic is included to help protect the combinations. Other cards have been placed in the deck as name references that are Lovecraftian in nature - such as Ancient Excavation, Ancient Craving, Notion Rain and Underworld Connections - and others have both the name and the art going for them, such as Elder Deep-Fiend, Soul of Innistrad, Cosmic Horror, Aeon Chronicler and Manic Scribe.

Both jeffboms and myself hope you like the deck. Any advise for the deck is always welcome!
