If you can get your opponents to discard their hands, while you still have a full one, you've basically won. Their hellbent vs your huge card advantage is almost unstoppable. The point of this deck is to get the game to that point.

Crosis and other attackers are the main method of forcing asymmetrical discards. Attackers that force discards is the main theme of the deck, but the creatures have to actually be able to land hits, not get removed, countered, etc. Flying helps a lot with this.

Also, this is a budget list. Best upgrades: 1x Ghastlord of Fugue 1x Myojin of Night's Reach 1x Dire Undercurrents 1x Lightning Greaves 1x Counterspell 1x Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur 1x Waste Not
