Introduction

This is my first standard deck, i brought to tournament, i went home with 5. place (of 10) and a 2/2 ratio. I have to admit, i changed a few cards. When i played, there were less Appeal / Authority, Ixalan's Binding. Instead i fought with Samut, the Tested, a Mountain and a few fetching lands. I went with 3 copies of Anointed Procession to the tournament, but i switched it out after each first match, it never mattered.

• 2:0 b/u control / treasure
• 2:0 pirate aggro
• 1:2 b/u midrange

Strategy

It seamed pretty cool, do do a ton of damage in one turn, often surpisingly for my enemy. Combined with lifelink Appeal / Authority on a Pride Sovereign or Prepare / Fight on Oketra the True, alternativly using Majestic Myriarch or Adorned Pouncer that was the gamechanger and brought me the win. Resilient Khenra buffed well, too. Ixalan's Binding made Gifted Aetherborn and The Scarab God look old, but i only had 2 of them.

Update with RIX

With Rivals of Ixalan, i am not sure whether to improve this deck. What do you think about putting in some

• Cobbled Wings insteat of Appeal / Authority - i guess flying is better evading than trample, and the artifact can be used more often.
• Radiant Destiny - All Cats +1/+1 and Vigilance, due to City's Blessing, which will come fast with the cats army.
• Captain's Hook - Oketra hitting for 5 and double strike would be nice, and cannot be destroyed be destroying the artifact, Adorned Pouncer's double strike will profit, too. Even Sacred Cat will get ab boost with lifelink
• Thinking about adding Rhonas the Indomitable - Indestructible, can give trample.
• Thinking about adding Huatli, Radiant Champion - Good Planeswalker with many tokens :)
