If this was'nt Standard, I would have suggested Doubling Season , but Standard it is. Really nice idea though, I think this will win you a lot of games!

@Long_Con: I originally considered going with some undying creatures, like you did, but I found the synergy between Scavenge and Undying was undesirable (or, rather, the lack of synergy was). Champion of Lambholt was a strong contender, but it got edged out by the Hydra (which can in this deck be played as a 3-drop with few problems).

I have definitely been considering the Hydra since realizing the potential with the Menace!

Only playtesting will tell... I also have a couple of other Golgari builds, with a hint of blue in them. Lotleth Gravebeats and Ruinator-Troll. Both of them employ Lotleth Troll in ways that I found don't synergize with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord .

I'm not a fan of Golgari Charm... Maybe some Murders instead?

I like golgari charm for its versatility; it can save all my creatures, nuke delvers (considered Tragic Slip for the same reason but passed), and destroy some of the harsher graveyard hate they've put in RtR
