Have you ever thought "Gee wiz, I wish I could target phalanx leader multiple times and give bonus counters to things," then do I have the gimmicky deck for you.

1.Target Phalanx Leader with Flickering Ward to give multiple +1 / +1 counters

2.Have fun with friends as you triple the power of any creature you control with lifelink using Sunbond and Cradle of Vitality

3."Wow" your opponents as you tap Gyre Sage for 50 green mana and cast Alliance of Arms

4.Use Children of Korlis with Tethmos High Priest to then gain life and start Step-2 all over again and lose said friends.

This deck obviously doesn't work all of the time, but hopefully other people can find it as fun I as do.
