Count, Count CountingCounters!

Do you love counters? Do you love counting them? Do you love watching your playgroups jaws drop as you show them how high you can count counters? If so, then have I got the deck just for you!

- Avatar of the Resolute is a great 2 drop and early threat. With a couple creatures out and a Hardened Scales, he will usually be a 7/6 by turn 4.

- Den Protector does seem out of place, and quite frankly is. But he can return ANY card to my hand and get a +1/+1 counter to boot, so he pulls his weight.

- Servant of the Scale 's main purpose is to allow me to build counters on him early and dump them on someone with trample later on.

-Scrounging Bandar is around to keep counters counting. Each upkeep, with a Hardened Scales out, I can move any amount of counters to another creature. So I could just move one each turn and when moved it triggers Hardened Scales and they get 2.

- Managorger Hydra grows insanely fast. With most my creatures Hardened Scales really helps out. With one out it will grow by two counters every spell cast!

- Verdurous Gearhulk is just down right awesome. He comes in able to distribute 4 counters. If you distribute 1 to each creature, with a Hardened Scales out, each creature will get 2. A body and a counter creator.

-Bow of Nylea gives attacking creatures deathtouch. Well, with trample in the mix they only need to assign 1 damage for lethal, then the rest to the player. When things are slow and I have extra mana, the tap abilities are pretty sweet too.

-Hardened Scales is the star of the show! Allowing any counters that are placed become that many plus one.

-Heroic Intervention is to protect my big guys from being destroyed too easily.

-Inspiring Call for some card advantage. If you have a better draw spell to suggest I would love to hear it.

- Nature's Way is to remove anything in my way. Yes, it's sorcery speed but the creature I choose does not deal damage to me. And it comes equipped with vigilance and trample.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is a great walker for only 3 mana. Her +1 gives me bodies and her -2 gives counters to all creatures. If I can/want to ult her, she gives great life gain and draw.

If you have trouble keeping track of all the counters, just let The Count lend a hand:

I love how simple yet effective this deck has turned out to be. The CMC is insanely low for how big you can get your guys. Who doesn't love pummeling your opponents with a Managorger Hydra that they helped nurture. ;)

If you liked it please upvote to avoid Bow of Nylea!!

Hangarback Walker gets ridiculous with Hardened Scales

I run Life's Legacy in my deck. it is great turn 4 or so, have your Hangarback Walker swing in for a bunch, then sack it draw a bunch of cards and recycle it into thopters.

Oooo I really like Life's Legacy. Hangarback Walker I can see its potential, but I would maybe want some ramp to make him more effective. But I will play test and see. Thanks for the comment and suggestions, NyanNijet

dracoarmy thanks for the upvote and suggestion. I have thought about Predator Ooze, but He doesn't have trample. I only have 2 guys without but they're just there to feed the bigger guys. To make the card blue you need to do this:
[ [ insert card name ] ] without the spaces of course

True, it doesn't have trample. But with Hardened Scales in play, it makes Predator Ooze something they have to block every turn, or it makes a good blocker for you. Lets hope i did the blue card names right
