Sideboard

This deck is definitely about the mid to late game and has plenty of 1 - 3 mana cost counters and other control cards (exile, exile, exile) to keep the opponent at bay. Spellskite can give it an interesting edge, but is most often used as defense against targeted instants unless the ability finds a specific offensive home run hit. Spell Queller is indispensable for both its flash and exile, and is a decent creature for offense and defense thereafter. I find the best strategy is to keep the opponent spending mana in vain as they try to get something going, then in turn 6 - 9, get out Elspeth, Sun's Champion and/or Torrential Gearhulk and force the opponent to focus on something other than dealing damage to me. And of course, a couple board wipes (Supreme Verdict) can come in handy.
