MTG Deck Builder

Controlled Infestation

duck121

Legacy

Score: 1

Description

This deck is meant to clear a path and kill quick. It thrives in medium length games. It works with a couple of simple yet effective combos. By using Blowfly Infestation as soon as possible, in combination with the infect abuility, Grim Affliction , and Virulent Wound you can remove massive amounts of tokens from the field with little effort. You can use Perplex 's transmute abuility to speed up the posses, as well as being a strong counter spell. Then Call to Mind to bring back any spell you see fit for the situation at hand. By using Inkfathom Witch with Blighted Agent or any other creature in the deck, you can decrease your win time immensely.

I would run Tezzeret's GambitMTG Card: Tezzeret's Gambit over Steady ProgressMTG Card: Steady Progress. What format are you going for or is this just casual? Is there a budget?

If there isn't a specific format your are going for then why boy look at cards like NecroskitterMTG Card: Necroskitter and Phyrexian CrusaderMTG Card: Phyrexian Crusader. Since this is control, maybe add in some Mana LeakMTG Card: Mana Leak, Corrupted ResolveMTG Card: Corrupted Resolve, or CounterspellMTG Card: Counterspell as well as some field wipe like DamnationMTG Card: Damnation or Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith only if within your budget of course

No problem. I just made an infect/removal deck not too long ago. It's Skitters, Take the Rainbow based on Necroskitter .
