More changes and an update —March 10, 2018

Insidious Will is out and Force of Will is in. Woo hoo! I finally got one (and super cheap too!).

I'm still trying to settle on what to stick in for The Immortal Sun. It's never come up (at a useful time), thus far it's only been throw-away bait for Azor's Gateway  Flip. But I also haven't really run into anything that I really need to add to the deck. It's been very reliable, it curves pretty much perfectly every time.

Thus far the deck's record in multiplayer is 10-2-0. One of the losses, a friend was actually piloting the deck, and my budget Nath deck just beat the snot out of everyone on the floor! The other loss was a moral victory, I countered another player's much-needed Praetor's Counsel with Pact of Negation; I had zero lands left, thanks to his Gilt-Leaf Archdruid. >.<

I've even managed a couple wins with Approach of the Second Sun!

Post edit: At this point, I'm strongly considering swapping out The Immortal Sun for Brago, King Eternal. Thoughts?

Nice deck, I built an Azor deck that has more of a Voltron theme to it, Azor will have Order. Maybe it could give you some ideas.

Initially I think I would like Archangel of Tithes in this deck, it's great for both protecting you and punishing your opponents for tapping out all there mana, as they then can't block anything you attack with.

I would still like Commander's Sphere in the action, as it helps with Azor's exacting cast cost and can be sacrificed in response to removal.

Eldrazi Displacer is an alternative to Mistmeadow witch that I would recommend.

Looking forward to seeing how your deck grows. I wouldn't include Jace, it's expensive for what it does and planeswalkers never last long in EDH. The mind sculptor on the other hand... Its getting reprinted... Again... :)

redace10 Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely look into Archangel of Tithes, I like that she puts a tax on going after planeswalkers too. I'd considered Eldrazi Displacer too, but I was concerned about the limited amount of Colorless mana generation, but I guess I have more than I thought, so I'll put that in consideration too.

Luckily, I need not worry about a reprint for The Mind Sculptor, as I picked him up a while back. He just never manages to get off the ground. People see that ultimate and take him out post haste. I mostly keep him around, waiting for me to run some sort of Super Friends deck again.

Fair enough, it seems strange that a planeswalker not named Ugin or Karn would draw so much hate in a deck without access to Doubling Season. Your meta sounds really into removal, ever consider Karmic Justice? My meta doesn't really call for me to include it, yours sounds like it might. If exile happens more often Pull from Eternity might be worth a look. I like it and Expropriate at the least :)

In looking at your deck you actually interact with your graveyard very little. Is that by design because of RIP? It seems like if you don't look at you gy, a few delve cards might be of use. Namely Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time. Otherwise Karmic Guide and Reveillark would love to get in on the action with Deadeye and co. You run some high costing and high value creatures worth keeping around.
