Obviously a very grave-oriented deck with lots of recur, and grave fillers.
I've got a Birthing Pod toolbox, and a Fleshwrither toolbox in here, which is always fun. Lots of options makes me happy.
Also a big sacrifice theme going on here with Grave Pact , Butcher of Malakir , Martyr's Bond , It That Betrays , Fleshbag Marauder , Braids, Cabal Minion , World Queller , Savra, Queen of the Golgari and Sheoldred, Whispering One . It never affects me as badly as my opponents, because I'm filling my grave for karador and recurring stuff constantly with Debtors' Knell , Reya Dawnbringer , Sheoldred, Whispering One , Adarkar Valkyrie and Sun Titan
If you have a Survival of the Fittest , you'll want to look for a Reveillark , Saffi Eriksdotter , Karmic Guide and a sac outlet like Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter . With those 4 in hand/grave, you can empty your entire grave and put everything onto the battlefield, not to mention have an infinitely large Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter and kill everything else.
I'm still looking for an affordable Tooth and Nail , and as soon as I find one, it's going in with Triskelion for an instant win obviously.
Also thinking about adding Kozilek, Butcher of Truth , just to protect my graveyard in case I have a Fauna Shaman or Survival of the Fittest in play.
You use Tooth and Nail to fetch up Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion .
You shoot 2 counters off of Triskelion targeting anything, then shoot the last counter at Triskelion itself. It will die and come back thanks to undying. It will now have an extra counter but you keep shooting them at anything (and the last counter at itself) until everything and everyone is dead. Triskelion will never have a +1/+1 counter when it dies and thus it will keep coming back.
Scary. O.o
So rather than focusing on ETB effects, you just sac everything on the board, then bring your stuff back and swing?
...
I wish I'd thought of that. :P
+1 Nice deck, and thanks for answering my question.
@deathbygiraffe The combo works but not the way you described it. If you look at Mikaeus, the Unhallowed it says that he gives other nonhuman creatures +1/+1 so your Triskelion is naturally a 2/2. So, you remove one counter to ping others then 2 to ping himself. Just thought you should be aware because if you ever played Tooth and Nail for Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion I would ask that you demonstrate the combo once and when you misplayed it I would point it out.
Hmmm...I'm not sure, but I think you might have 1 too many cards here. Since you chose not to list your general with the other creatures, your card total should be 99 (since the general is included in that total.)
Basically, if you put Karador in the creature list, the deck would be 101 cards.
yeah, i'm conflicted about which card to cut. At the moment I'm testing which one in the least useful.
And thanks Ohthenoises, I forgot the bonus for a while... would have been embarrassing...

Timekeeper says...
Certainly an interesting take Karador you have here. How does the Tooth and Nail + Triskelion combo work?
