Planeswalker (1)

Creature (1)

Objective is pretty simple: T1 - T2 cast Stitcher's Supplier and Glowspore Shaman to put cards in the yard T3 We are casting our Surveil draw spell, or one of our 3 CMC creatures. T4 We are probably needing to clear opp board up with Vraska, Golgari Queen and Ravenous Chupacabra. If Vraska, Golgari Queen isnt down ticking on opp things then she's up ticking on Stitcher's Supplier or any of our early creatures. T5 we can cast Gruesome Menagerie and bring back Stitcher's Supplier, Glowspore Shaman and either Plaguecrafter or Charnel Troll. Underrealm Lich is also really good late game for putting creatures in the yard for Izoni, Thousand-Eyed and Hatchery Spider.

The removal: Assassin's Trophy and Necrotic Wound - Its put in the deck for simple spot removal. Assassin's Trophy is good in early game if there aren't enough creatures in the yard, while Necrotic Wound kills the big bois late game. Necrotic Wound is also good in early game if you can chain Stitcher's Supplier and Glowspore Shaman. Against aggro you can block with Supplier and hope to bin some more creatures before you cast Necrotic. I'm open to suggestions about taking them out for better synergistic cards.

What I didn't include: Originally I was planning on a heavier blue presence with the new Lazav, the Multifarious and a few of the other surveil creatures, but it turned out surveil isn't very good if you don't have a way to gain card advantage. So hedging black-green opened up more opportunities to play more dredge cards.

Synergies: Stitcher's Supplier and Glowspore Shaman are the engine to this deck by dredging creatures to the yard for the undergrowth abilities and Glowspore Shaman can help your draws if you need that 3rd land drop. Plaguecrafter and Vraska, Golgari Queen work really well in the early game if Stitcher's Supplier is out. If supplier isn't out then trading one for one isn't terrible either, but the goal here is to obtain as much value as possible from our creatures ETB and being sacrificed to make our late game cards stronger.

Side board:

Dead Weight - early removal for other aggro decks Kraul Harpooner - removal against more midrange control decks running Nicol Bolas, the Ravager or other big flyers Mausoleum Secrets - interesting card to use against control decks, mostly going to test for now. Mephitic Vapors - probably won't end up running this but if there are a lot of token decks it could be useful. Not too worried about killing my own 1 and 2 CMC creatures with this spell since we have ways to get them back and it makes undergrowth better. Ritual of Soot - This might end up going main board depending how creature heavy the meta becomes, plus it synergizes in the same way Mephitic Vapors would. Status / Statue - probably just testing this card, but threw it in here for more versatile removal. Golgari Raiders - I could see this card doing really well against control decks that are going to tap out to destroy all my creatures. Next turn I just use all my fallen dudes to pump +1/+1 counters onto this guy and hit for lethal.
