This version of Omnath, Locus of Rage is designed for my LGS' point-based EDH tournament with > turn 6, infinite combo penalties. It's also designed to defeat opponents all three opponents in one turn but one-at-a-time in order to maximized control over point distribution.

Point Distribution and Restrictions Show

The tournament consists of 4 rounds of play with 2 random and 2 weighted pods using the below point system. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 players. There are no special rules or bans.

Point Distribution: - 2 Points for the first player eliminated. - 4 Points for the second player eliminated. - 6 Points for the third player eliminated. - 8 points for the last-man-standing. Note: Points are split for any players who are simultaneously eliminated*.

Restrictions/Penalties: - -1 point for each player eliminated before their 6th turn. - -2 points for an infinite combo (point-loss incurred when a repeatable combo repeated more than once per player in the pod). - -2 points for any instance of a hard-lock.

*this rule dissuades strategies such as Labratory Maniac which eliminate all players simultaneously. This is because all players will still earn a relatively large amount of points. Meaning that all four players can still challenge your point total after 4 rounds. By contrast, if you can choose which order you kill your opponents, you can eliminate the high-point-total or more competitive players first, ensuring that they earn the least points possible.

Note: I am in the early the early playtesting stage after merging my Titania, Protector of Argoth and Xenagos, the Reveler decks. Because of this, the maybeboard contains several cards that just didn't make the merger. As I refine the deck I also plan to trim the fat from the maybeboard, but for now, I just don't want to lose track of them.
