Here's the update.

As all peeps who tired to view this page, they may conclude that I'm the crazy brewer who just keeps on forcing out Naya in an aggressive deck. Well, they're right. I just can't leave Deafening Clarion out since iI'm totally blown by the card's capability in this deck. First, lets talk about the deck, how it works its competitive advantage against Gruul and some stompy decks.

The deck's main plan is to put big creatures in the field and ahead of the curve just like most green decks do. However, the deck has Deafening Clarion as a way to neutralize very fast decks by wiping the board and giving our creatures lifelink since we can survive the wipe part. We may kill a Carnage Tyrant with a Gruul Spellbreaker if they choose to block it when we cast a clarion. The deck is also favored against tokens, mono red, merfolk and most weenie decks.

Card selection discussion:

Llanowar Elves - ramps us early into a turn 2 Steel Leaf Champion or Gruul Spellbreaker .

Kraul Harpooner - our 2 drop of choice against decks with flyers. Basically, if control players played Niv-Mizzet, Parun on turn 6, Niv dies... Period. Same goes with a Hydroid Krasis Also against mono-blue with lots of flying stuff. This also serves as a finisher post board if we get to play it with Rhythm of the Wild against control in a post board wipe situation. Imagine a 6/2 or 8/2 haste attacker on turn 4 post Ritual of Soot , Kaya's Wrath or turn 5 post Cleansing Nova .

Steel Leaf Champion - our typical 3 drop since we got lots of green mana. Also, this gives us the advantage against tokens if they don't have a way to deal with it. Mono red or white winnies will have a hard time dealing with it.

Gruul Spellbreaker - a card that negates the threat of a turn 4 Settle the Wreckage . Also a good and agressive card that can be ahead of its curve.

Ripjaw Raptor - our 4 drop of choice. Makes our opponent think twice before attacking or blocking. Once i had 3 of this in a game and cast Deafening Clarion . I got 3 cards and 3 4/5 lifelinkers. :). Instantly ending the game.

Regisaur Alpha - now why this card over Skarrgan Hellkite ? My main reason is, it is easier to cast in a 3 color deck. Also, this gives us an advantage vs golgari/sultai decks since thay got lota of spot removal. I might as well cast a creature that leaves a creature behind. Also, the card is phenomenal with a follow up dino since a hasty Carnage Tyrant isn't fun at all against most opponents.

Carnage Tyrant - hands down our best creature. The deck is weak mainboard against control and here is our equalizer. :).

Spells: Deafening Clarion - the reason for splashing white. No need to explain LOL.

Thrash / Threat - our way to shoot down creatures or otherwise, a 4/4 creature. :)

Open the Gates - our way of fixing our mana and thinning the deck.

Lava Coil - hate against phoenixes.

FNM venue was full of tier 1 decks.

vs Mono blue tempo. Game 1 Went neck to neck. Managed to out creature the opponent. Last turn went him bouncing a 3/3 dino token without touching Regisaur Alpha. Next turn, i managed to cast ghalta. Game over.

Game 2 Boarded in vivien reid and Banefire. Managed to neutralize a Siren Stormtamer with 2 curious obsession thanks to Kraul Harpooner. In the end, Banefire did the job... X-8. Game over.

Vs Dimir control Game 1 I basically dealt enough damage with the help of Steel Leaf Champion, Kraul Harpooner and Llanowar Elves until my opponent uses Ritual of Soot. Post wipe, i manage to cast a Regisaur Alpha. Token attacks and put him down to 4. Next turn... Banefire for 5.

Game 2. Same start. This time, post wipe i slipped in a Sarkhan's Unsealing. Went to draw 3 straight 4 or more powered creature. Game over.

Vs selesniya tokens Game 1. Didn't get the mana for clarion. And lost.

Game 2. Misplay. :(. I have deafening clarion in hand. My opponent did not cast or attack ( march of the multitude is in his hand). I didn't pull the trigger on wiping. Lost next turn because he top decked Flower / Flourish.

2-1 record.

A good game to be honest. I'll cobtinue on evolving the deck.
