Llanowar Elves - A lot of the people have been debating whether or not Llanowar elves is good in golgari midrange, and the ultimate answer is that it depends on the shell. In this shell it allows us to run a lower land count and the powerhouse card that is Gruesome Menagerie. The amount of topdeck fixing we have also makes this a very easy card to get off of the top of our library in the lategame.
Merfolk Branchwalker and Seekers' Squire - The two drop explorers of the deck. I believe you can split it either way in the current metagame, but the three power tends to be more important so you can trade.
Wildgrowth Walker - The mainboard engine to outpace aggro decks. Lots of lifegain and the deck provides a lot of buybacks to help keep the pressure up.
Jadelight Ranger - Explores twice and potentially draws you two cards.
Plaguecrafter - A card that impresses me more every time I play it. This crushes everything from grixis to jeskai control.
Ravenous Chupacabra - Our danger doggo. Efficient removal that we have the potential to buy back in the late game.
Gruesome Menagerie - An efficient three for one that does a lot of work.
Find / Finality - Either a very efficient buyback or a simple board wipe.
Izoni, Thousand-Eyed and Vivien Reid - The two slots that I am not entirely sold on. Each of these cards can win the games by themselves, but I am not sure what cards should sit in this slot. I honestly might prefer large vraska over Izoni.
