Hi all! This is my take on Slimefoot. When I first build the deck I went the saproling value route. Eventually I found that this commander has a lot of combo potential. So it ended up as a full on combo powerhouse. The deck is fairly consistent with enough tutors to get your pieces and has several combo's it can work towards within reasonable time. What makes Slimefoot a strong combo-commander is the fact that he himself is a combo piece within the deck, so you always have one piece in hand of several combo's!

The main goal here is to go off as fast as possible before your opponents have answers up. There are several ways of doing this:

Slimefoot, the Stowaway + Doubling Season / Parallel Lives + Ashnod's Altar + 4mana = Infinite mana and damage.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Rendclaw Trow + Altar of Dementia = Infinite sac./Infinite mill. Put Zulaport Cutthroat next to it for infinite damage against Eldrazi titans.

Aluren + Carrion Feeder + Gravecrawler + Zulaport Cutthroat = Infinite sac. and infinite damage. This combo also works with Phyrexian Altar instead of Aluren

The Melira/Trow combo is by far the strongest in the deck since it works with any sac. outlet, putting Fecundity next to it also draws your whole deck. So even though it's a combo deck, it doesn't play out as linear as it seems.

The deck is filled with powerful tutors who can be auto wins by themselves if nobody has a counter up. Tooth and Nail and Protean Hulk are such examples. Casting a Tooth and Nail with 2 mana left after it resolves wins you the game like so:

Get Protean Hulk and Sidisi, Undead Vizier , sac. Hulk, get Altar of Dementia of the Sidisi trigger, get Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Rendclaw Trow , with any 1 drop to get max value. Cast Altar of Dementia and now you have your infinite mill assembled with just one card. You can also use the Hulk trigger to get Viscera Seer as your 1 drop and try to win by putting Zulaport Cutthroat next to it it instead of "Dementia" to get around the Eldrazi titan's.

Defense of the Heart is also a strong setup for an instant win.

So in the end, it turns out that I love playing combo in commander. The deck evolved slowly into what it is now and it wasn't the intention at first. It fits within my playgroup and it even wins me some games from time to time.
