Some Changes —Sept. 27, 2016

I have added in Norn's Annex, Karmic Justice, and Concerted Effort. I would really like to find a replacement for Sunscorch Regent, but need some suggestions!

I put some new cards in my sideboard that I want to try out. I got Humble, Blind Obedience, Luminate Primordial, and Martial Law.

I am continuing to love this deck and how it just pwns anything on the field.

I dig this deck a lot! Looks super solid to play. +1!

I recently acquired Story Circle and Reverse the Sands. I loved that Story Circle jives really well with my commander, and Reverse the Sands is a good fail safe if I am losing badly late in the game. However because it costs so much to cast, I may keep it on the sideboard.

Two angels to consider:

First is Karmic Guide. This recursion costs less than Emeria Shepherd and for a turn says I have a pro-black flyer. But I'm not saying replace your shepherd: use them in concert. Use Emeria Shepherd to bring back Karmic Guide to bring back anything else. All for the price of one plains landfall, and this can be done each turn

The second is Twilight Shepherd. Mono-white has board wipes and you shouldn't be afraid to use them. One trick is Avacyn, but another is this shepherd. Cast this before or after you Wrath of God (or any similar card) and you won't lose anything.

I actually had Karmic Guide in the deck but cut him because of the echo cost...but in concert with Shepherd, it may be worth it again.

I had not considered Twilight Shepherd! That is a pretty cool card with all the board wipes in this deck. And it is budget friendly which is nice.

Thanks for the suggestions and the upvote!

It's a bit pricey, but Luminarch Ascension is a great source of angel tokens, especially if you can drop it early before anyone has any way to attack reliably. Always love decks that have room for more of the riskier but fun cards like Endless Horizons and False Prophet. +1 from me

Honestly I had considered Luminarch when I was building the deck, but was trying to keep costs low. But I will definitely be on the lookout for one if I can get it cheap.

The deck may not be competitive, but like you said, it is fun to play! Thanks for the upvote and the suggestion!
