This is my first EDH list. It's still under construction but open for debate, comments, scrutiny, critic and your opinions. Please go easy on me!

Thoughts

(Note: Being relatively inexperienced, my thoughts might be prone to coming across as completely stupid and silly!)

• Volrath's Stronghold has been over-shadowed in testing because of how expansive my hand is whenever it turns up. In a not-so-brilliant situation I believe this will truly shine.
• I don't have any fetch lands such as Misty Rainforest as they are too expensive. I want them but my wallet does not.
• Coalition Relic can produce 2 mana of any colour on the turn after it was played and for that reason I value it higher than Darksteel Ingot (indestructible) or Chromatic Lantern (colour fixing).
• I'm not sure on Mimic Vat , it's impossible to judge when testing solo.
• Whispersilk Cloak and Lightning Greaves are nice but I think they would be wasted spots. A fatty/The Mimeoplasm doesn't need to stick around long to have impact.
• Cyclonic Rift feels like a temporary yet far safer version of Oblivion Stone, though it's another hard card to judge without opponents.
• Entomb is great but an expensive card for what it does. Until I get hold of one (I'm in no rush) it will be removed.
• Vampiric Tutor and Demonic Tutor are similar to the above but they have a far greater use and I can warrant their purchase.
• Bribery is devilishly fun. Plus when the creature dies you have a good target for reanimation: Bonus!
• I want Decree of Pain to be as amazing as I hope it will be: Level the field, fuel my General and fill my hand with fresh goodies. Time shall tell.
• Despite the inability to untap without paying a small fee I like Dance of the Dead for the same reasons I like Animate Dead.
• Body Double is the only "reanimation" spell I'd pay 5 mana for as it leaves the targeted creature open for further reanimation and you can perform some interesting tricks with other stuff in the list. One of my favourite cards.
• Deadeye Navigator looks fun but will it be functional?
• Have people decked-out from Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur before? Because that's what I have nightmares about.
• Triskelion is missing from the list because while he works wonders with The Mimeoplasm and a huge creature such as Lord of Extinction it doesn't do much by itself for 6 mana. I see it in a lot of decks but I'm just not a fan of those sort of combos.
