I have done some testing with Steam Augury in standard and as it looks like you don't have any real graveyard play I would suggest taking it out in favor of Thought Lash . It's actually a hindrance. Just some advice from a fellow Zedruu player!

Thanks for the input andywhit333. Actually I've been thinking about adding those punishing cards like Thought Lash , Steel Golem and so on but right now I'd rather go for the UWR controlish type of deck even though I won't abuse Zedru's abillity as much as I could that way.

I would highly recommend Bazaar Trader when you're running things like Chamber of Manipulation because you can give yourself permanent control over anything you take with chamber. (Bahaha evil goat laugh).

As another fellow Zedruu the Greathearted player I recommend Temporal Isolation this little goody can be tutor with Wild Research and used as instant speed removal. As well as later given away to draw cards.

I personally think you REALLY need to replace your sorcery speed card draw. Run things like Opportunity , Jace's Ingenuity , or Careful Consideration et alia. They're really much superior to your sorcery speed.

The Goat Man is an amazing commander but have you considered running Narset, Enlightened Master instead? I like the play of a Narset build more than Zendruu. I think she is a better commander for an America deck but that is just my opinion. If you think about it check out My deck:

Heyo, your list looks great! I was wondering if you can survive on politics alone or if you would consider putting in more propaganda effects. As safe as befriending one player is, I've found that I am almost always murdered by the rest of the table for not buffing them. My list opts for a "howling mine effect" based deck that draws me closer to my combos. I'm also curious if insurrection/ form of dragon donation is often enough to win. I can see the viability in a one on one, but the sorcery speed really kills it for me. I also prefer janky infinite combos, but that's my own sensibilities.

I made a similar deck, but I think yours is better. Can you guys help me out with mine:

Zedruu is definitely a fun underrated playstyle. you gonna run Codie, Vociferous Codex in here too? lol
