Get instant card advantage by having not one, but TWO commanders!

Boros is often known for being the colour combination with the least card advantage, so playing two commanders helps. Having lots of equipment lets you play smackdown and gives you a use for all that mana. And you also have the classic combo of Darksteel Forge and Disc for lols (but don't expect to actually win much with this)

Mycosynth Lattice pumps Akiri to an absurd level and lots of equipment interact with each other in interesting ways. Bruse helps keep you alive and you have draw from Sram and Puresteel Paladin.

Being a Boros deck, there's plenty of slots for silver bullets as well, such as my personal favourite Tower of the Magistrate.
