Modern* Aggro Budget BUG (Sultai) Reanimator Tribal Zombie

Javaz

Everyone who knows me, knows that Zombie is my favorite tribe in Magic. It was my very first deck, with random cards, a lot of 1x, but it was awesome and flavorful. Now, with SOI, I finally had the opportunity to remake my Zombie deck. A deck capable to kill the opponent with endless ranks of bodies, wave after wave.

This undying horde uses some tool to keep pressuring the opponent. All the cards have great synergy and can make nice tricks to dominate the board. Here is a deck breakdown:

  THE GRAVEYARD FILLERS

The first thing to do is trying to put as many creatures as possible in the graveyard. We want a number of Gravecrawlers and Prized Amalgams to recur with minimal investment. To do so, we use:

Lotleth Troll: The main discard outlet. Can become gigantic in one turn while feeding the graveyard, can protect itself, it's simply a fantastic card to have.

Necromancer's Stockpile : The second discard outlet. With this out, every Zombie in my hand becomes:

"Zombie". 1B. Flash. Zombie can't be countered. When you cast Zombie, draw a card. 2/2

Pretty good. All this while filling the GY with bodies!

Vessel of Nascency : Last "discard" outlet, sometimes the most important part is that it puts 3 selected cards in the graveyard. Or even all of them if you want!

  HOW TO USE THE GRAVEYARD

Now that the grave is full, it's time to bring back some creature!

Gravecrawler: Staple in every Zombie deck ever, the power level of this little creature is incredible, even more in this deck with all the interactions.

Prized Amalgam: This is the card that made me build this deck. A 3/3 for 3 is already nice, but a 3/3 that comes back (even in multiples) with a simple Gravecrawler recur is very very strong. Easy to discard, hard to deal with, since it can be a constant pressure.

Stitchwing Skaab: So, at first look, this card isn't so good. In this deck, it's just perfect. Vessel, this in graveyard, pay 2 and discard 2 amalgams, return this and the amalgams on the field. There you go! A scary army for little mana.

  THE "GLUE" CARDS

These are the ones that keep the deck together. Some interaction is really powerful, as you will see now.

Diregraf Colossus: Ok, now we're talking. Let me tell you how to (ab)use this card. First, use your discard outlets to get 3-4 zombies in the grave. Then, on turn 4-5, cast this as a 6/6 for 3 mana. From now, each Gravecrawler comes with a 2/2 friend, and that's pretty brutal when you recur it multiples times from the graveyard.

You may wonder why I decided to include Wings of Velis Vel and Nameless Inversion. There are better cards to use for those purposes! The answer is: they're Zombies! With the changeling ability, they have the Zombie subtype every moment. This means that if they are in the graveyard, it's a +1/+1 counter for the Colossus. When I cast these spells, I'll also get a 2/2 Zombie. I can even get them back with Ghoulcaller's Chant and Lord of the Undead! So much value!

Lord of the Undead and Relentless Dead : These are the cards that help me when everything goes wrong. The Lord buffs my army and generates an overwhelming advantage; it could even act as a pseudo Snapcaster Mage with our tribal instants. The Dead triggers Prized Amalgam with its reanimate ability, and is a constant threat when you have one or more mana open.
