It's a midrange deck that also is a combo deck except the combo technically doesn't win the game.

The basic idea of the deck is to abuse interactions between Misthollow Griffin and Food Chain which generates infinite mana (to spend on creatures) or the Griffin and Deathrite Shaman. Essentially, you get an unkillable 3/3 flier.

07-Oct-2016 Took it to my first legacy FNM, I went 2-2. Got blown out ridiculously by 12-post and over run by Shardless. Beat another Shardless player and had a really good set of matches against Imperial Painter.

Tasigur seemed really underwhelming and I'm probably going to drop down to 3x manipulate fate to get extra removal into the deck. Probably move Maelstrom Pulse and maybe get a vindicate for the MD.

14-Oct-2016Went 1-3. Beat elves, lost close games to Maverick but they just had better answers and the combo was too slow to deal with Jitte/Mom. Dropped the ball against lands after going up a game. Not sure what exactly I could have done better game 2, game 3 I screwed up the interaction between pithing needle and thespian stage and lost the next turn. Last round was UR delver. I mull'd to four game 1. That was the highlight of the round.

I took out the white splash and added Fierce Empath as a combo enabler.
