Colorless Artifact Myr Combo

Modern Artifact Combo Infinite Combo Tokens

johnvalk

Well well, here is my Colorless Artifact Myr combo deck!

The main goal of the deck is to have a lot of mana as quiclky as possible, it will allowed you to otk your opponent in many ways depending of what you draw. I'll explain;

First of all try to have the 3 Urza's lands. 7 mana for 3 lands is a lot. So in the early game use your expedition map to fetch those.

The main goal is to have a lot of mana and go infinite by the many ways possible. (Infinite mana, infinite damages, infinite Tokens or just put into play you entire deck in a single turn.)

Now now, I'll explain each card why it's in the deck and how to combo it with the other cards.

Artifact

-Blinkmoth Urn: Don't have much to say about this one, all your field is going to be artifact, so this is a lot of mana to play your thing and to activate the (5) from Myr Matrix

-Clock of Omens : First way to go infinite. There is many usage for this card, in most case you will use this to tap either Blinkmoth Urn or Your many Myr Tokens that you gonna get. Things thats are good to untap are :Everflowing Chalice, gilded lotus if you need mana and Kuldotha Forgemaster if you can sacrifice more creatures, could be use on a Myr Turbine too if you have enough untap Myr or a prototype portal if enough mana. For the infinite mana combo with this one, you need to have at least 1 Myr galvanizer, 1 Palladium Myr and two other Myr (Tokens most of the time) The combo is quite simple, you only need to tap Palladium Myr for the 2 mana, Use the clock to untap it, by tapping the two other Myr and use the 1 mana abylity of the Myr galvanizer to untap all Myr, after just tap the palladium for the 2 manas, use the clock to tap the two other myrs and untap Myr galvanizer, repeat.

Darksteel Forge : Not completely necessary, but allow your thing to survived most things. (Often only brought with Kuldotha forgemaster

Everflowing Chalice : Simple enough, try to multikick it as much as you can. depending on the situation, but I like to use it when I can pay the multikick 8 times.

Expedition Map: Early game is almost only used to fetch the Urza's lands. Mid to late game can be use to fetch Inventors' Fair for the sacrifice or Tomb of the spirit dragon for some massive health gain.

Gilded Lotus : +3 mana, thats good innit?

Myr Matrix : This one is mainly use for the (5) creat a 1/1 Myr token. The +1+1 on all Myr can be alright and the indestructable is nice. But the token is all that matte, because it doesn't tap the card! When you have like 30 extra mana it's pretty good to be able to spawn 6 Tokens just like that (Token that are use to be tap or sacrifice)

Myr Reservoir : Is not too strong of a card, and the one most likely to be changed, The +2 mana help early game to cast some Myr spell and the others effect for (3) can be good if your opponent killed one of your Myr Battlesphere.

Myr Turbine : This is one of the must useful card in this deck. When you don't have 5 Myr Tokens, juste spawn one and in most case as soon as you can use it's second ability which is to tap 5 untapped Myr and put into play any Myr from your deck into the battlefield, and you really want to put Myr Battlesphere. Myr turbine works really great with Clock of Omens,Unwinding Clock and Voltaic Servant, allowing you to spawn many tokens or to tap many times your myr to put into play more Myr Battlesphere.

Prototype Portal : This card is not useful every games, but when it does, it does good. Mainly you are going to use it with: Blinkmoth Urn (For insane mana), Myr Battlesphere (For juste pure power and tokens), Myr Turbine (For the tokens madness and the second ability)

Semblance Anvil : Another not too great choice, but it can help recyle some card that you don't need later in games like the second unwinding clock or Ur-Golems eyes. Since almost all of the deck is artifact, the (2) reduction is really good.

Unwinding Clock : Incredible in Multiplayer games. And this piece of gem let's you untap all your artifact at the begining of each player turns, so allows you to tap Myr Turbine, Kuldotha Forgemaster, and mana gaining artifact (For Myr Matrix) even more!

Ur-Golem's eye: Free mana!

Creatures

Kuldotha Forgemaster : Once on the field this card is extremely powerful in this deck, since almost all your card are artifact and the fact that you are going to have a lot of Myr Tokens to be sacrifice. You can use it to put on the battlefield many cards but the best ones depending of the situation are : Myr Battlesphere (It summons 4 Tokens for you to sacrifice next turn!), Clock of Omens (If you have the combo), Myr Matrix, when you have a lot of mana, Myr Turbine, Blinkmoth Urn (If you need the extra mana),Darksteel Forge if the opponent is a threat with is board and Unwinding Clock.

Myr Battlesphere: Try to summon this card as fast as you can, it really is a game changer. The 4 Myr Tokens that it spawn is incredibly useful. Usually this card is not gonna be played directly from your hand but rather from Myr Turbine in most case and other's from Kuldotha Forgemaster. If you do however got it in your starting hand, it really not bad playing it on turn 3 or 4 ;)

Myr Galvanizer : This card will rarely be used for it's +1+1 on other Myr, it's second ability is where it's power's at. With it you can untap all other Myr, so... if you have 1 Palladium Myr + clock of omens + 2 other Myr you could go infinite mana! Also work if you have 2 Myr Galvanizer on the field + 1 Myr Palladium. And since it's a Myr, you could tap it with Myr Turbine in some situation.

Palladium Myr : It's a Myr, It's an artifact and it gives 2 mana, what could you ask more! This one help in many ways, first and simplest the 2 mana is very useful in many situations, you'll see. Second usage : Since it's a Myr, you could tap it with Myr Turbine in some situation. Third: In combination with a clock of omens, a Myr Galvanizer and two other Myrs, you obtain infinite mana. Fourth: In combination with 2 Myr Galvanizer you obtain infinite Mana.

Voltaic Servant :Not too much to say about this one, can be use on Myr Turbine to summon an extra token, or to tap 5 additional Myr. Or be used on a mana source artifact, so you could activite the Myr Matrix more times. On Kuldotha Forgemaster too if you have the tokens for it. Could also be good on a Prototype Portal.

Lands

Inventors' Fair : The (4) to fetch any artifact from your deck is really powerful when you need exactly a missing card.

Tomb of the spirit dragon : The (2) is incredibly strong since all your creature and Tokens are going to be Colorless. That's a lot of Hp gain from a land, really good vs burn deck.

Urza's Lands : Well what can I say more than 7 mana for 3 lands? You will deeply need that mana.

Sorcery

All Is Dust : The only sorcery in the deck but it's good when in trouble, and since every card in your deck is colorless it doesn't affect you at all. Only bad thing is since it's not a artifact, there is no way to go fetch it.

That's pretty much it for the explanation. My win rate with it is positive, but vs deck that uses many counter spell, mill and/or can win in 4 turn it usually lose though.

I'm open to suggestion and improvement!
