Woah! —Sept. 23, 2017
Hi everyone! I'm finally playing Magic again and loving it. I'm made the jump to UG and looking for suggestions. Next on the chopping block for me are Inkmoth Nexuses. I've recently gone to two FNM events while playing Mono Green. Nobody plays Affinity, so I've removed Affinity hate and replaced it with regular answers. I went 2-2 in one event, and went 1-2 drop in the other. In the first even, I played against living end and lost 1-2. Then played storm and got lucky. After that, I lost 0-2 to Death's Shadow. Lili is painful. I then got a bye, ending up 2-2. In the second event, I played against UW Spirits with some control elements, where the last two games were very close. Spell Pierce would have been nice here. Next, I played Bant Eldrazi. He had enough blockers to keep me from dealing damage. I'm considering more Trample. After this, I once again played Death's Shadow. Lili burnt me again. He also had a ton of removal, namely Fatal Push. Spell Pierce will be a must here. Alright, that's all I have for now.
