Hello and thank you for checking out my list! This is currently a work in progress - I welcome any feedback you may have. I have been testing this list extensively, and am not sold on it as is. While I've pinned down the general win cons, there is a lot of fluff that can probably go - this is where I would like suggestions. Below is a loose primer for what I look for in a typical game.

The standout superstar of this list (aside from Chulane) is Shrieking Drake, of all things. It trips into combos surprisingly easily and frequently - this is a list of typical winning board states:

Chulane + Shrieking Drake + Earthcraft + Island Chulane + Shrieking Drake + Inturder Alarm + Blue Mana Producing Creature Chulane + Shrieking Drake + Aluren Chulane + Shrieking Drake + Cryptolith Rites + Concordant Crossroads

While not guaranteed like the above combinations, just having Chulane and Lotus Cobra with a Shrieking Drake is often enough to dig deep enough to hit a key enchantment and cast it to win. Shrieking Drake and Vizier of the Menagerie can also dig you there, given the right hits.

Laboratory Maniac is ultimately what wins you these games, but Shrieking Drake is the card that takes you there more often than not.

Food Chain with Misthollow Griffin and Eternal Scourge are in as a back up plan, as they also have the effect of drawing your entire deck.

Mana ramp is formatted to 1-3-5 to hit Chulane on 3 as consistently as possible. Exploration, Wild Growth, and Utopia Sprawl have been omitted intentionally - you already play multiple lands a turn, and the one drop creatures are far more valuable after Chulane than the land enchantments are.

I would like some recommendations to steer this deck away from the "Glass Cannon" archetype towards more of a "Tempo Combo" type of deck. I've played Animar for years and Chulane feels very similar - the problem is that killing Animar more than once is normally the end for that deck - I would like more consistency against my playgroup, who pack a lot of main board hate for blue decks (Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast are mainboarded around here).
