Chulane is a commander that really interested me because of the pure value. The deck is primarily focused on using Chulane to combo off with Aluren and/or Cloudstone Curio to draw our deck and win with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. With Aluren we can play our CMC 3 or less creatures for free, including those that bounce our creatures (such as the great Shrieking Drake). We can abuse Cloudstone Curio and Intruder Alarm with our mana dorks to generate infinite mana and potentially draw out deck with the right set up, or just cast a very large Finale of Devastation to help close games out. The addition of Aetherflux Reservoir will allow us to turn casting our small creatures into life gain and an alt win-con. Finally, if all else fails, we have Craterhoof Behemoth to finish the game in classic green fashion.

There are some lands matter synergies in the deck such as Lotus Cobra, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, and Rampaging Baloths. We are also casting a lot of creatures, so God-Eternal Oketra should give us plenty of value.

In addition, we have a small hate package to help slow our opponents down and tax them as we set up our board with creatures such as Kataki, War's Wage, Aven Mindcensor, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Manglehorn, Mana Breach, Collector Ouphe, and Thalia, Heretic Cathar.
