Squids! was inspired by Modern Owling Mine. It uses a Turbo Bounce shell with Black Vise to ping the opponent and Chasm Skulker to beat people up.

1. Get out Black Vise or Chasm Skulker. This creates a timer!
2. "Lock" the board with Standstill or Arcane Laboratory and a slew of counter/bounce. Win the game!

Temple Bell is nice for advancing both win conditions. It's preferable to other Howling Mine effects because it allows you to retain control and tempo.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is your high end CMC. She can draw, lock the opponent's board, and let your squids get in hits for free.
