Maybeboard

As soon as I saw Gishath, Sun's Avatar being spoiled I knew I had to make a deck around him (or her). Then at the prerelease I opened him in my sealed pool, and realized that it was impossible not to build this deck.

It's a dionosaur tribal ramp deck featuring all the biggest stompiest dinosaurs: Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Zacama, Primal Calamity, and of course the biggest of them all: Ghalta, Primal Hunger.

Most of the best dinosaurs have a CMC of 6+, Gishath himself is an 8-drop, so ramp is a very important part of this deck. I'm running most cards from the basic green ramp package and a couple artifacts. With all this ramp there is a way to get Gishath out turn 3, it's not very likly, but it could happen. It goes like this: Turn 1: Play any untapped Land to play Sol Ring to play any of the three signets or Fellwar Stone. Turn 2: PLay another untapped land to have access to five mana, which you use to play Gilded Lotus or Mirari's Wake. Turn 3: If you played the Gilded Lotus, you now have eight mana and can play gishath, if instead you played a Mirari's Wake you have to play a third untapped land to have enough mana to cast Gishath, Sun's Avatar.

Another important part of this deck is the protection, this is a broad category including protection from single-target removal: Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots, Protection from attacks in card:Mirri, Weatherlight Dualist and Boardwipe protection in for example: Teferi's Protection and Avacyn, Angel of Hope.

With the release of M19 we got two new dinosaurs in Gigantosaurus and Runic Armasaur. Gigantosaurus is just to big not to include. Runic Armasaur is incidental card draw on a pretty nice body, a 2/5 isn't crazy, but it blocks a lot of stuff in the early game.

Please give me any advice you have for this deck.
