Mono Black control with a smallish price tag.Uses Brain Maggot, Duress, Despise and Lifebane Zombie to wreck an opponent's hand. Vampire Nighthawk and Desecration demon will easily end games using evasion and damage unless answered early. Geth's Verdict and Go for the Throat kill any creatures you've allowed your opponents to cast.Temporal Extortion will usually win games whatever effect an opponent chooses by turn 5 or 6.

Duress and Despise - Thoughtseize for the discerning budget spender

Geth's Verdict - Sneaky way to force a little more damage through whilst killing any pesky creatures you allowed your opponent to keep hold of

Go for the Throat - Most consistent non-Murder kill spell. Cheap and highly effective

Sign In Blood - Card advantage at a small cost. Who needs life when you aren't getting attacked?

Mutilate - Cheap Boardwipe-ish in Mono, Desecration Demon has a nasty habit of surviving it early game giving tempo advantage
