Here's a break down of the deck:

Birds of Paradise: It's the best mana dork in the deck and allows us to get all our colors. If there's a board stall, birds combined with Gavony Township can close out a game by going over the top of your opponent.

Wall of Roots : A solid turn two ramp creature because he can't be bolted, and your opponent will probably want to save there unconditional removal. He can be activated as soon as he enters the battlefield, which comes in handy a lot, especially if you draw a one mana dork turn 2 and have a wall in hand, you can play them both giving you even more mana to work with. He also pairs really well with Chord of Calling because you can activate him to get a mana and then tap him for convoke so he theoretically counts as two mana towards chord.

Voice of Resurgence:

Scavenging Ooze:

Spellskite:

Qasali Pridemage:

Wall of Omens:

Kitchen Finks:

Eternal Witness:

Knight of the Reliquary:

Courser of Kruphix:

Restoration Angel:

Pia and Kiran Nalaar:

Ephara, God of the Polis:

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker:

Path to Exile:

Chord of Calling:

Side board under construction. Any suggestions and +1s are greatly appreciated.

Hey, I'm constructing a similar deck at the moment. How have Ephara, God of the Polis and Pia and Kiran Nalaar worked for you?

If I ever untap with ephara in play I feel like I can't lose. The card advantage is insane. Against any deck that's trying to one for one you ( or "blue jund") every creature you put down, and they remove, replaces itself while the removal doesn't. If they're trying to out race you with volume of creatures (zoo, merfolk, etc.) she allows you to win the race or stay in it depending on the situation. I draw on average 4-5 cards off of her if she lands and sticks for a turn. After that you are usually just so far ahead that you win.

When I first heard about Pia and Kiran (Jeff Hoogland on the Open Series) I was skeptical. However, after playing with them a couple times I was converted. Early on they muck up the board and chump saving damage and later on they can win you the game. They remind my a lot of Lingering Souls. They also have great synergy with Restoration Angel and Gavony Township.

I highly recommend both cards. Please upvote if you like my deck.
