I originally planned on taking my Krenko's Goblin Gang to my first FNM, but last minute I decided against it and chose this one, Turned out not bad.
Out of 13 people, I placed 3rd.
1st Round - Devin - Naya Humans
Devin was a great guy to play and trade. He welcomed me to my first FNM and we began. His deck was amazing, filled with Huntmasters and good removal. I was able to hold my own with deathrite, but wasn't able to get out the big guns like Deadbridge, Varolz,, or Vraska. I went 0-2
2nd Round - I got a buy
3rd Round - Nick -Boros
Nick was a cool 5th grader who was used to EDH. His deck contained some really great cards, such as Aurelia and Reckoner, but no early-game creatures. This made his deck very slow, I won the first round pinging with Deathrite and my second round with Varolz. 2-0
4th Round - Stephen - Mono-Green
Stepehen had playsets of Rancor, Beastmaster, Strangleroot, and Young Wolf. A very good deck. Luckily I had a few good draws such as an early Deathrite and putrefy and a late Tower defense. I went 2-0
Overall I did pretty good for my first FNM, I think. Tell me what to Improve if you please!
