This deck is a twist on common Vorel +1/+1 counter decks or even Vorel charge counter decks. There are many amazing hydras that are normally played in Vorel decks and other +1/+1 strategies like modular creatures. Charge Cannon does away with playing solid value threats and instead plays artifacts that can't block. Why? Charge Cannon artifact is not a deck built to win otherwise I'd have Darksteel Reactor in it. Instead the deck is about:

Making Artifact Tokens. You need chumps and sacrifice pawns, we got em. Use Nuisance Engine + Pentavus + Retrofitter Foundry + Thopter Spy Network + Tezzeret, Artifice Master + Whirlermaker + Golem Foundry + Spine of Ish Sah to fuel your engine.

Sacrifice Artifacts to fetch and do other cool stuff for dayyyyyyssss! With Arcum Dagsson + Kuldotha Forgemaster + Reshape + Trading Post + Throne of Geth and maybe even Retrofitter Foundry.

Play on every turn. Untap all the mana rocks and run your engine! With Unwinding Clock.

Proliferate all the counters! Throne of Geth + Viral Drake + Contagion Clasp + Contagion Engine + Inexorable Tide. And don't forget Doubling Season Works with literally everything in the deck. Tokens, counters, poison.... hehehe.

Proliferate Hella Mana. With Crystalline Crawler + Everflowing Chalice + Gemstone Array + Pentad Prism + Astral Cornucopia.

Your fetch mages will consistently get what your missing for cheep. Use Treasure Mage to go get Planar Bridge or Fabricate and Reshape into a Kuldotha Forgemaster.

Finish them off with Titan Forge or Blightsteel Colossus. Keep those counter spells in your hand for artifact hate!

Make Enemy stuff go BOOOOOM! If you can't block fliers get Predator, Flagship to make all your things fly or to make their stuff go MORE booom! Nuke everything off the map that you don't like with Lux Cannon as well! And if that is not enough you will have even more BOOOM with Spine of Ish Sah.

This is a machine to make enemy stuff go boom! This deck DOES NOT focus on value, it focuses on being able to go boooom without spending cards! Because of this, the boooms are slow comming but never ending once you are established.
