Modern Burn Combo Mono-Red Reanimator Red Deck Wins

This morning I rediscovered Molten-Tail Masticore. I never really gave it the time of day before, but now I've decided to give it a whirl in modern, a format with lotsa options.

I've discovered a lovely synergy between our Masticore friend and Chandra Ablaze. You discard a bunch of red stuff, exile the creatures for big-time damage (and to recur your Chandra's Phoenix's) with the Molten-Tail Masticore, and save up your instants and sorceries for Chandra to cast for you. As I said before, Chandra's Phoenix is another key player, as it is able to COME BACK FROM THE GRAVE.... And so on. Other artifacts/artifact creatures allow me to play a few copies of Kuldotha Phoenix too. Faithless Looting fills up my graveyard whilst letting me find my pieces, and Thunderous Wrath is just amazing as well. You'll have no trouble hard-casting it, but you can always discard it, and save it for Chandra's Ultimate.

Please leave suggestions for this deck, as I am a n00b at Modern! Any helpful sideboard cards would be espescially welcome!

If you'd like to play this deck without sinking a million dollars into various "sword of..."s, Mask of Memory will fill it's hole rather well.

Please tell me whether this deck or my Non-artifact version is better:

I like the Idea of this deck but it seems to have a very hard time dealing with combo decks since they are usually faster than your combo and will combo first killing you with a million Deceiver Exarch s or a million copies of Grapeshot on turn 3-5. The card:Grafdigger's Cage seems good against storm to stop Past in Flames I would probably suggest more spot removal for Splinter Twin combo.

Thanks for the comment and +1!

Ah yes, I had forgotten about all those "fun" combo decks. I added a couple of Relic of Progenitus into the SB for Dredge decks, but I'm not sure what kind of removal I could add in for Splinter-Exarch.

I already have the Masticore itself to pop him for 4, as well as a metal-crafted Galvanic Blast , or a Chandra Ablaze +2, or a Thunderous Wrath . As you can see, I have plenty of things that can kill it, I'm just worried about him flashing in the Exarch and them completely screwing me while I'm TappedOut... Do you know of any mana-free spells (obviously with some other cost) that can kill an exarch in modern?
