Chandler's List

Commander / EDH

joecool1299

Power is when we have every justification to kill, and we brutally murder everyone.

Chandler . The other half of the bromance with Joven . Only Joven has five commander decks on tapped out. Chandler has one. Sitting on the list of unplayable commanders, people have ignored him for having a "Niche" ability. Until today!

So Chandler has a an ability that looks like it wouldn't come up all that often. I mean, besides Solemn Simulacrum very few decks will play any artifact creatures, let alone enough to make Chandler worth it.

Well, we play Mycosynth Lattice- I mean, way to make Chandler's ability worthwhile.

We have Mycosynth Lattice, Liquimetal Coating, Ashnod's Transmogrant , Mycosynth Lattice and Mycosynth Lattice

And you know there are plenty of other cards in our deck that do work like-

THIS HAS BEEN CENSORED BY THE MYCOSYNTH LATTICE IS THE BEST CARD EVER AND WE DON'T NEED TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE FUND

In all seriousness, cards that turn creatures into artifacts isn't really that common. Even then most of the effects are in blue. Mycosynth Lattice is the secret second commander of this deck. Your deck can function without it but with it, your deck stops being cute and starts being scary.

So much so we run ways to protect it as well as other artifact we control. Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer and Darksteel Forge protect our artifacts from most everything. Already dead? Goblin Welder and Dareti, scrap savant say "Nah"

But what about artifacts that aren't creatures? We have ways around that too. Karn, Silver Golem and Toymaker turn any artifact into food for Chandler . And they also interact well with a card I may have mentioned before, I can't remember.

The rest of the deck is an odd duckling of an archetype, mono red control.

Diaochan, Artful Beauty , Duplicant, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs Crawlspace, Silent Arbiter all cards that look kinda out of place in that deck but they build towards our late game bombs like Inferno Titan and Blightsteel Colossus. We also play any removal we can jam in. Including a couple of tools you shouldn't forget about when building your decks; Fissure and Aftershock . Unconditional Removal in a color you would never see it from.

This is quite a spicy dish. One that I think is probably worth trying if you have the pieces. But I should point out, that if you really wanna see the strength of a certain card. Karn, Silver Golem in especially evil.

But Not bad. Not bad indeed
