This is my homebrew competitive Chainer. "Snooze" stands for Suicide-Nooze.

This deck can potentially combo on turns 3-4 but more consistently combos off on turn 5.

It uses stax effects to stay alive against turn 2-4 combo decks.

Game winning combos include the following:

• Buried Alive , Necrotic Ooze , Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker , Death Cultist . In this scenario Chainer helps give Necrotic Ooze haste so that the pilot can combo off the same turn it enters the battlefield. Chainer can also serve as a reanimation effect if needed, like when Reanimate , Animate Dead , Dance of the Dead or Necromancy can't be found for whatever reason.

• Entomb , Worldgorger Dragon , Arcane Signet , Yawgmoth, Thran Physician , and a reanimating enchantment. In this scenario the pilot can sacrifice and recast Chainer from the graveyard a number of times equal to their life total -1 to draw that many cards. If Aetherflux Reservoir is found among those cards, this can lead to an easy win.

• Dockside Extortionist is just mega value alongside any sac outlet.

• Sensei's Divining Top + Bolas's Citadel allows the pilot to draw cards equal to their life total and again, if the death star or a cheap tutor is found along the way this leads to an easy win.

Doomsday piles involving Buried Alive become do-able once the pilot has access to a draw effect such as Sensei's Divining Top , Mind Stone , Tainted Pact or Bolas's Citadel .

I'd call it about 95% tuned. Could use some finishing touches such as The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale , Badlands and Imperial Seal which are unfortunately out of my budget on paper. Those pricey staples will be included in my budget-less primer once it's finished.

This deck is a ton of fun, highly recommend :)
