Dear God are Cephalids terrible. Heck, I've wanted to build this for ages, but every time a see a list I'm like "...nah, maybe not."

I'd maybe throw more changelings in here, if only for consistency, since actually having Cephalids is 99% of the strategy. Since you mill and discard YOURSELF so often, maybe some Flashback or Madness stuff could come in handy too.

Some stuff seems a bit redundant/non-performing, like Xenograft and Mystic Decree, but otherwise it's hilarious and jank-tastic.

(Also, I love the commitment to theme with Churning Eddy and Think Tank .)

Thank you! I was definitely dedicated to it. I am replacing Xenograft with Cephalid Shrine more control and already have the cephalids to make this work well, might throw in Laboratory Maniac for the mill win though

You're aware that Cephalid Shrine does basically nothing, yes? I literally have a deck for cards like that lol. The worst EDH deck.

i have a lot of people in my play group that cast the same spells, and play blue/white and have some of the same spells as each other

If you really want to control people, change out your commander for Llawan, Cephalid Empress and play Whim of Volrath and Sleight of Mind and Alter Reality

Really shuts down those mono-color decks.

I might consider getting rid of Volrath's Laboratory , but if you are keeping it you could consider switching for for Birthing Boughs , technically the same thing for less mana.

Maybe Turnabout or maybe Deluge - removing cards is always the tougher than finding new cards to add

what about Pongify ? im taking out Volrath's Laboratory , Deluge , and Turnabout for Birthing Boughs , Alter Reality , and Whim of Volrath , just trying to figure out something for Sleight of Mind , i misread Turnabout not realizing it was an or card not an and card
