Centaur Warrior Green/Red

Modern Budget Midrange RG (Gruul) Tribal

Looking for a forfun tribal deck with unusual tribe; Centaurs are not good enough for building a deck only around them, but many Centaurs are Warrior creatures so I linked both types.

Centaurs have high mana cost, so I put Gatecreeper Vine and Brighthearth Banneret for easy casting; Gatecreeper Vine helps also as early turns blocker vs aggro decks. Taurean Mauler is a Centaur, a Warrior and also a Snake so it triggers with Sosuke, Son of Seshiro first ability; moreover his ability to get +1/+1 counters triggers with Bramblewood Paragon (note that also Brighthearth Banneret's second ability does the same with every creature).Stonebrow, Krosan Hero synergises with trample, which is granted by many cards. Flame Slash is for getting rid of some annoying creatures, the opponent gets already damage from my creatures, so I don't normally need to target him with anything else. Gruul Charm is mainly for the final rush, but is useful also against flyers.

About the sideboard, well Feed the Clan should be an answer against burn decks, Scouring Sands against lots of 1/1 especially if flyers (though I'm not sure about this card), Back to Nature for enchantments, Tormod's Crypt is just a cheap graveyard hate and Evolution Charm grants the same effect of Gatecreeper Vine but it can do other useful stuff, the idea is to substitute them when the opponent doesn't use much creatures.

The idea was to create a cheap forfun deck, but using Snow Lands (for Boreal Centaur's ability) and Taurean Mauler made it way more expensive than I expected.. But I like how the deck came out..Maybe the first thought could be that Courser of Kruphix would be at "home" in this deck, but it's not a warrior so also for budget reasons I didn't even care about adding the card to the deck. :)

Oh well, yeah, sorry for my english! :)
