This is my take on a competitive Kalamax list.

The early game is mainly setup. Try to ramp a bit or sculpt your hand with the many cantrips. Try to get Kalamax on the table with protection asap. Use the many disruption pieces to keep your opponents one step behind while you dominate the battlefield with a giant CA generating dinosaur.
