Thantis, the Warweaver and her spider brood have woven a very intricate web, a web of war. Nothing is safe from their webs, no amount of abilities or the wish to stay out of danger can save you now. And if you decide to try and take her down, I'm afraid you'll have an Arachnogenesis on your hands. The followers of Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper will perform a Deathreap Ritual in honor of our spider masters, right before crushing you with their Assault Formation that is. Under the Cover of Darkness will you fall into their trap, not seeing the Vanquisher's Banner until it's too late to escape from your doom. It will take a Hero's Downfall before there can be a Triumph of the Hordes and all recognize the Kindred Dominance of our spider overlords.

This deck was exciting to build, until Commander 2018 we haven't had a Jund commander for Spiders. And I have to say, Thantis, the Warweaver is pretty cool. Basically the deck is just supposed to be some fun with spiders, and make Thantis pretty big through people attacking you.
