Conversion to Hybrid Lands Matter! — April 6, 2019

When I started this deck I looked at it as if it were a Jund Omnath deck, and for the most part it is. It does the same things that Omnath does, but after playing, and playing against Omnath a lot of his combos are telegraphed. SO! Minor tweaks are abound!

We've cut a few cards for Seismic Assault, Entomb, and Gaea's Blessing.

With these two cards we can enable the Gitrog + Dakmoor combo to infinitely draw, or in this case infinitely put Dakmoor in our hand to discard via Seismic Assault!

So the combo is simple.

  1. Control Seismic Assault and Gitrog, and have Dakmoor in hand.
  2. Discard Dakmoor to Seismic Assault
  3. Gitrog triggers for you to draw a card
  4. Dredge 2 instead of drawing to put Dakmoor back in your hand.
  5. Repeat.

Eventually you'll mill Gaea's Blessing which will shuffle your yard back into your library and you'll machine gun your opponents to death.

Entomb lets us go get Dakmoor and start the combo at any point!
