Crash Through / Fists of Flame / Chandra —Aug. 20, 2019
Well, as time progressed new cards got printed that are quite better than some in this deck. I've swapped Telim'Tor's Edict for Crash Through as they both effectively draw me a bunch of cards, but giving all of my creatures trample with Crash Through is much better than exiling them with Telim'Tor's Edict
Next, I've replaced Reckless Charge for Fists of Flame. Both of these cards are solid pump spells, however Fists of Flame synergy with the deck is great. It allows me to 1, draw a ton of cards and 2, pump my team for how ever many cards I've drawn that turn. Fists of Flame along with Balduvian Rage are 2 great backup win conditions.
Lastly, I've swapped Mogg War Marshal for Chandra, Acolyte of Flame . Both Mogg War Marshal and Chandra, Acolyte of Flame can create two 1/1 tokens (either 2 goblins or 2 elementals). However, Chandra, Acolyte of Flame has the added bonus of being able to recast Instants or Sorceries in my graveyard with CMC less than 3 for free (her -2 ability), similarly to Goblin Dark-Dwellers
. The reason why I chose Mogg War Marshal instead of similar cards like Dragon Fodder or Krenko's Command is due to the fact that this deck likes instants and sorceries a lot. They can be copied by Pyromancer's Goggles or can be re-casted by Goblin Dark-Dwellers as well as Chandra, Acolyte of Flame's -2 ability.
