This deck is inspired by Beginner Black. The aim was to keep up with a deck that combined Orcish Lumberjack + Shivan Dragon to cast a high level creature in third turn.

The fast combo in this deck is Dark Supplicant + Scion of Darkness . If you manage to play Dark Supplicant in first turn, Scion of Darkness can be called in second turn. Though it's usually better to wait one more turn and keep the Dark Supplicant to call a second Scion of Darkness.

With Scion of Darkness + Soldevi Adnate it's easy to pay even the massive amount of mana for Griselbrand. The sacrificed Scion of Darkness can be returned from graveyard the same way it was originally called (using Dark Supplicant)

Demon of Death's Gate is also quite quick, if summoned for life and sacrifice.

In later play, use the cheap creatures as a kind of conveyor belt:

• Sacrifice via Dark Supplicant for Scion of Darkness
• Sacrifice via Soldevi Adnate for in
• Discard via Bog Witch for
• Summon Priest of Gix for effectively , i.e. receiving when combined with Soldevi Adnate

Keep this conveyor belt running with No Rest for the Wicked and Oversold Cemetery.This will get you one strong creature after the other. And if you run out of cards, there's still Skirsdag High Priest's tokens.
