“Mono-Black Control” powered by Cabal Stronghold, a killer creature hate package drives the early/mid-game. Except for tokens, his deck goes pound for pound with all the best aggro and midrange decks flying in competitive right now with 19 kill cards excluding Walking Ballista Bontu's Last Reckoning.

Demonlord Belzenlok plays SOOOO well in this deck! Huge body with immediate card advantage without the hassle of land draws.

Dread Shade is a definite threat that has to be answered but will surprise you with his closing ability when left unchecked.

mastermind’s aquisition is always a welcome draw that can pull you any card the situation requires. currently I am running this as a 2 drop, however I find myself wanting to see it more often and my increase it to 3.

Quickly explaining 1 loss: Helm of the Host equipped to gideon of the trial when 0: as a creature makes a Gideon of the trials token it does not however make it a 0: active creature as well. Judge allowed this play however allowing him to attack with 2 industrctuble creatures, then use the loyalty ability a second time each turn.

Second loss was a super jank U/W/G super friends deck that Main boarded: 3x Karn, Scion of Urza 3x Gideon of the Trial 4x Nissa, Steward of Elements 1x Nissa, Vital Force 3x Ajani Unyeilding 3x Dovin Baan 3x Teferi, Hero of Dominaria 4x Oath of Teferi Then sided in Lyra Dawnbringer It was very beatable, but I played looseAF not properly evaluating the board.
