This deck was made entirely from what was included in the Core 2019 Deckbuilder's Toolkit. I am just getting started in Magic: The Gathering, so I thought the toolkit was a good way to break in. Immediately, black and white called to me, so I thought I'd make my first deck from the blacks and whites included. I know this deck is definitely not optimal, considering I just took what I could get out of a starter box, but the main theme I'm going for is gaining and/or draining life. I included as many lifelink, life gain, life drain, and direct player damage cards as I could. There is also a secondary theme of resurrection/zombies. As I buy more cards, I'd really like to strengthen the focus of this deck on gaining and/or stealing life, so some of these cards that don't really do anything other than place another body on the battlefield will likely start being replaced. I would love suggestions of how to use the other cards I already have (included in the Maybeboard) to improve the deck, as well as what cards I should look to acquire to really focus the deck in on the main strategy.
