Drop 2 Plains and tack in 2 swamps, that will help out your mana curve. Also with your CMC curve, you may want to get rid of a few 2 drops for 1 and 3 drops to help it out a little as well. +1 from me

thx for that, really apreciated ill be searching for good 1 and 3 drops.

Ok, here is my thought process. I understand it is a morbid deck, but here is a few ideas to throw out there.x3 Go for the Throat , x3 Doom Blade , x3 card:Altar's Reap, x3 Dismember and x2 Victim of Night . That can cover your destroy spells, I personally rarely play 4 of any destroy spell. Get rid of card:Black Sun's Zenith and add in your x2 Day of Judgment . Also as far as the creatures go, try Champion of the Parish over Village Bell-Ringer ? These are just constructive ideas, if you like a suggestion, try it out and see.

i like card:Black Sun's Zenith over doj in mainboard because of the fact that i mostly need board sweep to get rid of X/1's or X/2's doing that either my high priest or abby demons survive and get to use morbid.. the Village Bell-Ringer i put in because when i all out attack and opponent reclessly attacks i can flash it out, block, kill, morbid and its pretty nice in the deck... ill try finding a spot for Champion of the Parish otherways... Victim of Night ...honestly i dont like, so much it cant kill.. but i will adjust my kill spells a bit as you sugest though =P oh and Sheoldred, Whispering One yeah ill find a spot for 1 or 2 eventually =) its so sxc

Haha, yeah Sheoldred is a beast, no one like playing against that card what so ever, so if you have her you better watch out for counters or destroy spells. People will honestly DOJ just to kill her, she is really good. The reason I say VoN is because people play black variation decks. The only thing it can't kill in a black deck more or less are Zombies. So, you can sideboard it in case. I'm fixing to update my deck on here, made a few changes to my morbid deck if you want to check it out?

BTw i got Elspeth Tirel any 1 have any thoughts on that?
November 9, 2011 5:40 a.m.
I used to play a deck like this a couple of weeks ago. Its not competitive. While I love priest, the fact is that morbid doesn't really have many cards to work with and that its a better idea just to go play tokens.
One card you are missing though is Mortarpod , its amazing in this deck. I used to use mortarpod + rats to kill there creatures, used to use it to activate my Priest. All kinds of things. Its great.

Mortarpod !!!!!!! how could i 4get th for that and +1 and ill let you know its pretty strong.controll+aggro works well trush meh ill find room for it rightsh now

Personally I'd run the Disciples, the turn four destroy something then morbid with the priest is amazing, and even when it doesn't happen turn four, late game your still gaining 5 a turn. Of course mine was more for abusing rage thrower than anything.
November 11, 2011 7:47 a.m.
problem with Disciple of Griselbrand is that i already have an overpopulated amount of 2 to casts in the deck and cant do much on its own so im still trying to work things out with it.

May want to consider some sacrificial spells such as card:Geth's Verdict or Tribute to Hunger . When you're lookin at a Mirran Crusader or anything equipped with a Sword of Feast and Famine , your current set of spells isn't gonna help much. I would run 1xDismember , 3xGo for the Throat , 3xDoom Blade , and 3xcard:Geth's Verdict if it were me. Dismember isn't as crucial, as you can probably kill off whatever you'd be hitting just as easily with a cheaper spell.
November 11, 2011 8:20 a.m.
).) Mirran Crusader how could i 4get? ide probably run Tribute to Hunger over card:Geth's Verdict because 2 black mana just isnt my friend even on t3 ill sideboard 3 of emsh and keep Dismember on mainboard since our meta doesnt have a shiz load of Sword of Feast and Famine and [mirran crusader]]

btw i was wondering if Elspeth Tirel would be a good idea?

I'd go with Typhoid Rats . They're a one drop and they have deathtouch thus bringing your morbid mechanic into play again. It would be cool if you could splash green in this, because that would open up Ambush Viper , he's basically a green spell that can fight back if you really want. Of course the even better card would be Glissa, the Traitor you don't need to worry about her artifact ability but rather first strike deathtouch is amazing. It takes 4 3/3s to kill her by blocking or someone with first strike of course lol. Either way morbid will activate off of her.

i like the idea but why Angelic Overseer theSunblast Angel , Hero of Bladehold and Sun Titan , Grave Titan and Sangromancer all seem stronger and if you want to keep the angel Hero of Bladehold is human

The deck looks nice. Maybe sideboard Day of Judgment just in case. Use it as a last resort, if possible. +1 to the deck.
